Ceylon Serpent Eagle
Serpent eagles vary from diffrent places, such as China and Pakistan. They like to climb on trees in the wide open forest. The serpent eagle hunts its prey diffrently than other birds. Rather than diving from the sky, the serpent eagle shoots from a perch and dives to the water or ground below.
The serpent eagle prefers snakes and lizards as it's food. The talons on the claws help grip and support the prey as the serpent eagle picks it up. This makes it much easier for the eagle to pick up it's prey.
The serpent eagle is mostly black, but underneath it is white with spots.Around the eyes of the eagle it is yellow and it's beak is very sharp.
