| The jaguar lives
on the forest floor and eats other animals. It's the largest American wild
cat and weighs about three hundred pounds . It always avoids fight
to catch its prey. It is the only big cat that doesn't roar.
Jaguars hunt in water. They are good swimmers and hunters.
