A mouse's habitat is usually in a field in a nest, or in a burrow in the ground. They also live in our homes and in other buildings. But don't worry about being harmed by a mouse if you see one in your home, because the truth is that it is more afraid of you than you'll be of it. To it you are the size of a Goodyear Blimp! (How would you like to see that coming at you with a broom?) You may see a hole in the side of your wall. That's probably a good sign that a mouse is living in your house. Try not to worry though, because chances are that it won't be there permanently because it just needed a home for the winter, or until it gets warm once again.
