Mermaids are another form of water myths. They are half human and half fish. They live in the ocean and are said to be like maidens with silky long blonde hair. Although no mermaids have ever been seen they are the most popular myth nowadays. In many movies there are mermaids and all of them seem to be on the side of good though they seem a little air headed. Mermaids are said to have an always sunny and bright attitude, no matter what. There is actually a fish called a mermaid but it looks nothing like the fairy book mermaid. Since mermaids were part fish all animals in the sea loved them. Even though mermaids aren't real it's sometimes fun to pretend.
