Sponsors are an important part of the Iditarod race. They give money to help support the race. There are four types of sponsors: presenting sponsors, major sponsors, supporting sponsors, and sponsors. The presenting sponsors for the 1998 race are Alaska Dodge Dealers, Cabela's, Internet Alaska, and National Bank of Alaska. There 10 major sponsors, 13 supporting sponsors and many sponsors.
